We're Outta Here

Well we're all set to go. The movers came and boxed up the entire house (scary) and they come to load it on a truck in the morning. Wednesday afternoon we fly out. We'll miss you all!

Carson Turns Two

This weekend we celebrated Carson's big #2 at Chuck E Cheese's. The kids had a blast playing games and riding rides, eating pizza and cake, and singing and dancing with Chuck. Somehow we left without a single picture of the birthday boy. What a great aunt and uncle we are? Luckily we got to celebrate with him last weekend too! Happy birthday, Carson.

Morgan just loved the rides. Actually this one didn't even need to move and she was entertained. More skeeball tokens for mommy:)

What a sweet big sister Mia is, and don't you just love Diego's blue eyes...gorgeous.

This is the bed head after the sugar high wore off and she took a 3 hour nap!

Carson's Diner

Morgan dives right into the plastic food. I think she knew it was fake?

Morgan only lasted a few minutes out in the snow, but she had fun watching daddy!

And to Cleveland!

We ended up driving up to Cleveland this weekend as well to visit one last time before we leave since the Axel's are heading to Florida soon.

Sophie was being a bit shy:)

Morgan snagged Great Grandma's scarf to try on with her new backpack she got her for the plane!

Morgan wasted no time getting in a few Sammy kissies!

Then they chilled a bit together. I think Sammy even liked it a little.

And that's all the postings I've got for now, folks! Whew.

Barb and Jerry's Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving at my Aunt Barbie and Uncle Jerry's house this year. The kiddos all had fun running around in the backyard, playing in the veggie gardens, jumping of cinder blocks, and playing football.

I love this grumpy face, not sure what it was for, but it didn't last long.

There must have been something fun over in the neighbors yard.

I love this one of Carson!

Going in for a kissie

Morgan wasted no time devouring her Grandpa Mo's yummy waffles!

More from our trip to Belgium

These are a few more shots from our trip though most of you have seen them already by now. I've setup another blog (and might try a website in the future, but no promises) to leave more to the traveling we'll be doing and leave this one for Morgan. No posts yet, but www.amysgoneadventuring.blogspot.com is the address and Scott's new one is http://www.scottaxel.blogspot.com/. Follow up with us shortly and you'll have more to read about there.

In general we had a nice trip, but it was so quick we didn't really get to do everything we wanted. At the same time it was so hard being away from Morgan we were ready to be home. What we did come home with is knowing exactly where we want to live. The house we really liked may have been rented, but there were so many we liked we are not worried about finding something. There was plenty of shopping and nice places to eat. Also, it will be very easy getting around with English while we must, but we are anxious to start learning some Dutch. We are still planning to leave the states shortly after Christmas so long as we have our visas by then.

This is the cathedral at the city center of the city we are going to live in, Turnhout.

This as well of the rest here are from the day we had free to look around Antwerp (the big city nearby)

We made it

Well Scott and I finally made it to Belgium to look for housing. We spent Saturday traveling and arrived here Sunday morning. With little sleep the past few nights we took a nice nap then drove to Turnhout and Beerse where we will be looking for houses and I will be working and had dinner with my boss and his family. We had a great nights sleep and are meeting with our relocation / real estate person this morning and will be looking at properties tomorrow and Wednesday. Meanwhile, Morgan is in good hands and is staying with my parents while we're gone (Thanks Mom and Dad!) Hope everyone is doing well!
